The problem
Patients often do not have a clue when it comes to risks involved with a certain disorder or treatment. Percentages are hard to understand.
The idea
Research shows that risks shown visualy with pictures and a clear message is easier to comprehend than verbal information with figures.
The process
First Panton developed a simply software application based upon this research. The application has been assessed by experts and will be tested in real life situations and improved.
The result
The application will be webbased and free of charge available to all doctors.
