As a junior in High School Ingeborg already knew she wanted to develop products for health care. While attaining her Bachelors and Masters of Science (Industrial Design Engineering) at the Technical University of Delft she developed a strong focus on human factors and biomechanics. In 1995 she graduated with honours after designing training equipment to prevent and cure low back pain for the company Enraf-Nonius
Enraf-Nonius offered her a position as a designer, project manager and later on team leader in the mechanical division. In 1998 she started working for the design agency Indes. In 2001 she started the business unit Medical Design business unit which provided 50% of the company’s sales within 3 years. As a result she was promoted to partner.
One day a week ingeborg also enjoys teaching at the Technical University of Eindhoven, faculty Industrial Design; she is a member of the core team of domain Health.
In 2005 she started her own design agency, Panton.
