Passion for technique was already clearly visible in his childhood. No wonder his high school had a strong focus on technical courses and was followed by a bachelor Technical Physics. He decided to educate himself further with an extra one year course Industrial Product Engineering. After working 9 years as a product engineer, he decided to devote his experience, technical knowhow and appreciation for design to Panton. In the past 9 nine years Marco has already been working in many small and large medical projects, like the development of a portable organ perfusion system and a powder inhalation device. Improving safety also played an important part in his projects for non-medical markets. He enjoys involvement in the entire project, from idea all the way to engineering. He likes close co-operation with both client and subcontractors while creating the best design.

In April '08 he started at Panton as senior product engineer.
