With the support of SmartX Europe, Sencure, TransferCompany, Panton and Asthmaware collaborated to further develop the Asthmaware pyjama shirt that enables children, their family and their caregivers to monitor asthma symptoms. The shirt uses respiratory EMG signals to monitor dyspnea during sleep. Within the project, we worked together to further develop the shirt as a complete textile solution with embedded conductive tracks, electrodes and connected hardware of the electronics. The SmartX project enabled us to develop a shirt and test it in a real life setting. Our technology is designed for high volume production.
